just bought a 92 520i se 2 owner 89k full history ,delighted with it ,such fantastic value for money ,wondered if anyone knows what they cost new ?

525i in 1995 cost AU$94k (1995 dollars)

EDIT: 520i cost AU$80k I think (can't remember, and I cbf finding the magazine again).

According to Redbook (http://www.redbookasiapacific.com/au/vehicle/prices.php?key=BMW+90RY), my E34 535iA Executive (with additional options) cost $119,000 AUD in 1990.

Holy canoli! I'd guess my '95 540 6sp would have hit $50kUSD....I won't complain about repair costs aaaaaannny mooooorrre :)

according to various sources.. my 540i M-sport would cost about 60K.

$420 for the onboard computer !! Granted, even now, it's more state of the art than most cars...
