Well my fall break for college has ended and it was time to put the car back in the garage for another 1.5 months. Even though the car is a 530 automatic I can honestly say I can't wait to get home just to go for a nice drive and take some turns. Here's a few pic's during it's final wash until November. Nothing special, didn't even move from the driveway.

Any wax??

You should coat it with teflon wax before you go. Seriously.

explain how you got the euro plate attached, did you have to drill holes farther out from the US adapter piece? I had mine on for a while but it seemed to curn out because it didn't attach far enough out on each side, so like it attached as far as a US plate, but since it's longer the ends just went straight. :(

Sooo I'll try again soon, as long as the tigard PD don't see me, but I think I'll make holes and putit under a US plate, that'd be badass

Man your car looks so awesome...

*drools*

The euro plate completes it I reckon. It's a shame you have to put her away for 1.5 months, I bet that's all that's on your mind when you're away from your car.

You should take it to school like I have.

Pay $700 a year for parking...its worth it :)

It's actually free and I'm allowed to bring a car on campus freshman year, but the parents disagree...

I just bought longer screws and attached them in the U.S. location. My true euro plate holder is being shipped from Germany.

Nah believe me, you don't want to move to NJ when it comes to paying for stuff. We have the highest property taxes, car insurance, and some of the most ridiculous house prices in the country.

I'm willing to bet that Oregon comes close if not exceeds one or both of these factors.

Lame-o!

We don't have sales tax here, which is definately nice. :D

Beautiful pics, its a shame you have to leave her. I bet she misses you. :) Teflon wax indeed. I've had mine on for about two weeks through 2 or 3 rains and it's still slicker than snot.

Charles, if you're going to mount a Euro plate, get the Euro plate holder. I had mine on a US bumper for a while and it looks rediculous, plus I had a small rattle. The Euro plate holder looks amazing.

Awesome stuff. I know how that goes with the not having the car business. I went two years without mine, thus the zero modding for so long. Every time I went home the first thing I would do would be to take the car on a drive. The problem was that my family used the car while I was away too, so sometimes I'd come home and someone would be using it, then get back and it would be filthy. Man, those were trying times :)

Of course I've gotten it back this year now that I live in a house I've spent WAY more than ever before on mods and maintenance and such. I also appreciate having it a lot more as well. Anyway, stay strong! You'll make it through. And at least yours is garaged while you're away.

wow, nice car, I wish mine looked that good!

I brought my 540 to college from PA to Florida. Parking is only $38 a year:)

It has 185,000 miles and made the 1100 mile trip with absolutely no problems.

What wheels are those. My car is the exact same color, so I would love to upgrade the wheels, it's time.

They are oem style 32's from the e39 540 sport. They are 17x9in the back and 17x8.5 in the front. Hope this helped. -Andrew
