I already moved another major site I own off my server colocated at Raqport.com, and that site is Crappie.com. It received probably 35% of all the traffic on that server. And I'm watching today as that server sits at 80-90% idle, yet I receive poor response time out of the server, throught SSH or HTTP. So, I may very well be moving Bimmer.info off to my local server for tomorrow, to see how much performancfe improves, or not!

My plan is to get off the Raqport.com co-located server anyway, and now is as good a time as any. They increased my rates, and never expalined why, even though I emailed them about it numerous times. They seem to only act when there is an emergency. Oh well.

Oh, you guys could check out Crappie.com and tell me if you think it moves quickly enough. That's running on the server here at home, across my 10MBPS wireless connection.

I noticed some slowness there at about 1:00 central time, seems OK to me now too. I still want to move it. I can always move it back.

It's not Jen's site beating things down, is it?
