pretty much a users preference, I use 32 front and 35 rear.

the higher the pressure... the stiffer the ride is... right?

also, is there a relationship between fuel economy and
tire pressure?

higher pressure... better fuel economy or is it the other way around?

Not necessarily. CORRECT pressure means better fuel economy. To find what that correct pressure is, experiment and observe handling and tire wear. Just keep about 3 more psi in the rear than in the front.

I run 38 psi all round on stock wheels and Michelin tyres - works beautifully ! ;)

Rolling my loaded 225 60 15" 525it at 40psi+ - I don't care for tire rollover on the edges much.

I just checked my Tire Pressure today. It was way out of order,i had four different pressures with the two fronts differing by 10 psi! I set the rears to 38.5 and the fronts to 35.5 and the difference in the stability, quietness of the ride was dramatic.I owe it to those Mario Andretti Firestone commercials where he reminds you to check your tires. Just because they don't look low doesn't mean they aren't!He is right..

I use 32psi all around, as dictated by the tyre pressure plate that is located in the driver's door jamb.
