Hi all,
Got in my '89 735 the other night and the head lights (low beam) wouldn't come on. The Gong of Imminent Death did not sound, besides I thought it highly unlikely that both bulbs would blow at once. The fuse was ok. All other lights worked so I drove home on my fog lights (as you would). The next day, after smashing my daughters piggy bank to pay my local auto-electrician to fix the old 735 I gave it one more try and miraculously they worked! How clever are these BMW engineers? They build cars that repair themselves overnight!
Now, on a serious note, has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas what it could be? This was nearly a week ago and it hasn't happened since.....
