Hi h=guys
Can anyone tell me please how easy it is to remove the stainless steel/trim pieces that go along the top of each door and the one that goes up the A post along the top of the doors and down the C pillar?

I am thinking of painting mine like the de-chomed version or M5.

Thanks!

Search the internet for "Shadowline".

That's the blacked-out look.

IMO that is a wonderful look. Searching Shadowline like said above will get you more and enough info on how to do this.

Thanks! There are certainly a lot of links but after a lot of searching I found one that told me what many others don't - just how the parts are separated. In this case pull staight out towards you. I'll give it a go and see how I get on. You may or may not know that there is a little less chrome on UK spec cars anyway - the only chrome pieces are around the top of the windows and along the bottom of the windows. There is none on either front or rear windscreens for example nor on the bumpers. So, less to pait or replace with shadowline trim.

Let's hope it comes off in one piece eh?

Many thanks
