When I hit bumps at speeds greater than 45mph sometimes(not always) I will get a violent shake from the front end felt throughout the whole chassis but especially through the steering wheel. It feels like I have hit a natural frequency or something. The shake lasts for 2-3 seconds max, but it scares the crap out me!!!
Things I have checked so far:
- balanced wheels
- roadforce checked for roundness
- correct hubcentric rings from tire rack (with 18" mpar replicas)
- lugs torqued to spec
- checked all front suspension parts (upper/lower arms, center/end tie rods, no excessive play
