This just started today, I walk out to my car turn it on and the obc says that it is -535F outside. I also noticed that the F was flashing for the first few seconds while the car was on but it would stop soon after. The computer man inside me thinks the obc might just need a reboot of some kind. I hope the sensor didn't crap out on me. Any ideas?

Your OBC has no connection to the temp probe

So basically that means my tempature probe is broken? Where can I grab one and how easy are they to replace?

clean the connections at the temp probe, any corrosion will cause this. I used stabilant 22 and its been fine for a long time.

I always kinda liked that because it reminded me which model I was driving. :D

But yeah, like everybody else said, start by cleaning the connections at the probe. If that doesn't fix it look for problems with the wire as it goes back into the harness.

I really shocked and amazed that this group has failed to ask the obvious question: Are you sure you dont live on the ice planet Hoth? :D

-535 should be WAY outside the limit when the sensor is dead, WAY OUTSIDE!
