Hey guys. Im sure most of you know me from bimmerforums, but I found this site and figured I'd introduce myself. This car has been in my family for years. I bought it for $200 when it was beat to hell. It was "beige metallic" with dents, scratches, and many problems. I have slowly returned it to good condition, had it painted, and modded it alittle. Wheels and suspension are coming this winter, and should be on for next spring/summer. Let me know what you think, suggestions are welcome.....

Remember how much it cost to Paint? Im lookin to have mine either repainted or buffed with a new clearcoat. mines not bad, but i want that brand new black gloss to it:D

cant wait to see the new suspension/wheels. Any idea what your gonna get?

The paint was actually done by a painting class at a tech school. They removed every dent, and painted it for like $1500-$2000. Ill be the first to admit its not the best job, but it looks alot better than the beat up beige and was affordable.

How did you black out your kidneys? I like the black kidney look but am not sure how I feel about it on Alpine...

I just removed them, cleaned them with paint thinner, primered/sanded primered/sanded, Painted/sanded, Painted, cleared twice


Use a black paint that has the look you want. I did semi gloss black.
