Normal E34 (non M5) side mirror housing style

folks, i'm thinking of purchasing the following item

however the shape seems different from what i have on my car.

is there 2 different side mirror housing for e34 ie one after 92 and a different one before 92?

does anyone has some comparison pictures?

And the evo for M5.This is in Europe the 3.8L.The same mirrors as the 850CSI.

In-between? There are only two versions? (not including the M5)

I also believe that the facelifted mirrors are functionality-wise better, they have little 'granules' on the inner edge to combat wind-noise better.

Here we dit not have the Sport editions and as i know wast the 3.8 on the US market because of the emissions.Here in Belgium it was only the last year of production that they had the evo mirrors.

In England was a 525IS with M spec.And it was nice to:D

nope, I lied....I do have the new mirrors. That's funny, I see so many pics of every body else's car, I don't think that I've ever stopped to look at mine. Now that I think about it though, I like mine better than the bulky old ones.
