speedo and LKM connected?

When I bought my car a few years back I had an intermittent dead speedo, also had LKM go bad and lose headlights. I can't remember if replacing the LKM fixed both problems. Speedo is doing the same thing now and I would like the cheap fix. I searched my own posts and can't find any mention of the speedo problem. I may be losing my mind.

Either the speed sensor on the diff is dirty or has bad connection, or /and replace the capacitors in the cluster.
