High pitch sound when idling..

When my car was running and parked, I noticed today as I walked behind it that there is a high pitched sound/squeel coming from somewhere in the rear. You can't hear it when standing at the front of the car. Any ideas?

If it is more of a high pitched whine it is prob the fuel pump.

my exhaust has a strange sound that is high pitch, maybe the way the sound waves in the exhaust get canceled cause this?

yeah, im down witht he fuel pump idea, even tho mine makes a weird low pitch rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr sound itsself heh, dont feel to bad about a loud fuel pump, you could have a Chevy ;) those things you can hear from a block away somtimes!
