Are these a bolt on upgrade for the 540?Are they overkill with the stock size rotors?

holy ****!

for brake info check bruno's site. www.bmwe34.net he has it all listed there. they work with e34, you just need big wheels 17" iirc or greater

Well that was very informative..Its seems to me to say swapping in these calipers is of no real use to me as i won't be driving the piss out of my car on a track.Oh well ,they look cool anyway..

These are the same calipers I am running. Stopping is amazing. I use the Porterfield Pads and Porterfield modified Brembo Rotors. I have 10k Miles and 2 racing schools on them and I am just now looking at replacing the front pads.

I can go from ~ 120 ->55mph in about 120 feet. I was braking farther into the corners than some of the Porsches I was running with. They are great. If you can afford them get them - JT

Jeff- they started a new thing where you can make auctions up to like 14 days! If you have an ebay business you can let things run for 30 days.

I can vouch for the seller. I recently bought some parts from him and he is a real honest and straightforward person who is a pleasure to deal with. He is also a good friend of Brett Anderson, Master BMW tech and Koalamotorsport fame.

Just FYI for those who dont already know, a bone stock 1990 535i has the best 60-0mph (97 to 0 km/h) stopping distance of any production sedan in 1990, including cars which are far lighter.
