hey everyone, my friend and i test drove a 1997 540i/6spd. 81k miles flawless! black on black super great car. when i drove it, it was hard to tell where the clutch grabbed. my friend that used to own a 98 540i said his clutch had some sort of pressure relase valve and he had it removed. the purpose was to make the clutch as smooth as possible. is full of bs or is there really such a thing?

small restrictor valve in the line going to the slave, it's described on e34.net
