I have searched this forum and the web quite extensively about this topic and have come up empty handed. I recently found, or so I think, the connector that you plug a keyless entry module into under my back seat by the battery. I also found that most of the wires were cut and spliced with another system that was removed. I was looking on Bavauto today and found an original keyless entry(p# 82 11 1 468 755) kit but do not think it is what was in my car originally. My key has the remote built in, no chip to take out or anything. Could my key work with this system or is there another module that was made for my key and car that I need?

Here is a picture of the connector im talking about and my keyfob.

If your key has the fob built in and the led is built in to the middle dashboard vent your keyless entry/alarm system is not under your seat. Have you tried to program the system?

You need to resize your pics!

Yes, I have tried to program my remote multiple times and have failed every time. As for the pic size, sorry, but I didnt have any thing handy to resize them with and when I looked at them on google they all appeared to be scaled down.

Also, if the connector shown in the pic is not for a keyless entry module what is it for? I have not noticed a led flashing on the dash but will look later today.

Is the led actually inside the vent or is it toward the windshield or where? I do not see what you are talking about. Any help is appreciated.
