535i headlights go out?

hello, i've had a problem for the past few months (as long as i've owned the car). occasionally the headlights will just go out for no reason. no bumps, acceleration or deceleration causes it. the parking lights, fog lamps, and brights still work. then, magically, they'll come back on for no reason, although a bump will help them turn back on. is there any common place where this this problem occurs? any certian connection i should check?

**i wouldn't worry too much about this, but it got me one of those nice end of the month tickets that a cop needed****

I had that happen with my bimmer too I just bought a LKM off of ebay problem fixed.

Hi,

I think it would be faster, easier, and cheaper to try re-soldering the joints on the relays. Worked for me...
