i can not see the tranny letters on the dashboard,or the digital display.

Has it ever worked or is this something new?

Look down at the stick :D

Mine displays the numbers only, but when I put it in "D" it shows only for a split second and then turns off. Not really sure what it is, I just look at the stick

Maybe your light is burnt out?
