How could someone with so little to contribute (read mechanical moron) possibly end up posting 1000 posts (plus those lost in the great server crash of 05) ?

Obviously a testament to your indulgence.

Plus you never know when you might need advice from one of the many other professions on here. I always enjoy your posts. If i wanted strictly mechanics i'd be spending my spare time at iatn

Actually the saying I have heard is "free advice is worth exactly what you pay for it." Not endorsing that point of view. Just repeating it.
