OT: Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit this weekend

Is anyone planning on going to the the Dream Cruise is this weekend?

My office building is on Woodward in Birmingham and we host two parties every year: one inside and one outside. I can see the cruisers from my office but there is an annoying line of trees which slightly obscure an otherwise great view.

If you plan on being near Birmingham, let me know and I can get you out of the heat and into some A/C if you need a break.

Jay Leno's "tank car" will be at Duggan's Irish Pub tomorrow. After Leno's buddy Gale Banks (Banks Power) put 2 $10,000 custom turbos on it, it should be making 1600hp and 3000 ft-lbs . . . not too shabby.

the dream cruise is great, iv gone every year, but will miss it this year for a family canoe trip know as "cabrewing" my dad used to get company vehicles along the lines of prowlers and vipers and take them down there, we also took our 76 spitfire and our 64 chevelle malibu ss (both gone now :( ) i would advise anyone to get down there and just sit curside on woodward in the royal oak area, alot of fun
