Rear door trim is stretched

We just purchased a 92 525, the back door trim is very strange, it looks like the vinyl has shrunk and is popping the trim inset out. When I was shopping I saw a 92 535 with the same problem. Anyone have a suggestion?

You can either cut it in an inconspicuous spot and re-fit it into the door frame, or you can replace the trim entirely. Prices are somewhere around 65-75 per door, with the rears being slightly more. Call BMA, probably the best prices out there. I just did all four doors with new seals - it quieted the interior down noticeably, mine is also a '92 and those seals were getting a bit long in the tooth and brittle - causing interior squeaks etc.
