I have been keen to get new lights since i live in an are with no street lights, and also because i love how they look :)

After checking a few shops i threw aside the idea of HID due to high cost.
But after i checked Ebay i found all the kits there to range from $200-300.
All of the kits i saw were only for 2 lights.

Do the kits support more than 2 globes?
Or would i need a full 3 kits to have HID globes at the front of my car?

Also, if i were to get just 1 HID kit, which lights would i install it in for maximum effect?

Id assume a "kit" would include igniters?

A friend of mine with an e30 bought one of those HID kits for an e30 off ebay and the light output was less than stock US ellipsoids.

3 full kits?! No no my friend!

Just get them for your low beams (if you have projectors!). You can get them for fogs if you want, but it's highly optional. High beams... you don't want them there. If you ever want to 'flash' anyone, it won't work well (if at all).

i use the stock headlights...that need help!
I have thought about hids, but they are illegal here and i am wary of the rebased bulbs, and on the passengers side(RHD CAR ) thre is absolutely no room for a "longer" bulb.I will eventually try cleaning the lamps with plus 30 or plus 50 halogen H1 bulbs

OE Euro Smilies are very impressive with HIDs.
