BC switch wont work

hi there
when i click the BC switch i get no reading at all. i know that the display is OK since i get messages. the panel OBC is working fine.
what could be the cause for it?
is it the switch?
is it a stored message?
is it a problem with the CCM?

the battery for a few minutes.

I had this happen once and I did the "Shogun reset", and it came back to life.
