Dunno if anyone has seen these, but there is a new version of the e34 LED tail lights out....

They're slightly nicer than the previous sets. I wont buy one until they come hella smoked and the LED's are closer with a more "real LED" appearance.

I like the LED idea (I've always admired LED lights more than conventional), I just hate that crystal look design of those particular assemblies.

If they did something similar to euroclears but with LEDs instead, I would seriously consider them.

Reminds me of fish eggs.

I'll stick with my LED amber turn signals for now thank you! On that note, how hard is it for them to wire up LED turn signals as well?!

Be reminded that you will get a lot of alarms for taillights with installing LED's.
Unless you modify the CCM accordingly. The japanese E34 gyus have found a way, I have read on their tips page (of course in Japanese).

All you need is to tap in a load equalizer and you're all set. Cost you no more than $5.

Have you had any problems with heat using those? And can you slave one to the entire assembly, or do you need one per circuit (IE, running lights / brake lights / turn signals)

Also, what about the high-mount lamp in the rear window? It'd look pretty gay to have LED corners and incandescent (SP????) center mount.

Just found these on eBay:

Different style to the ones posted earlier, IMO look somewhat decent.

Yea, those are the ones i've seen before, i like better than the other ones posted, but still the issue with the led's being so spread apart. I've actually have wanted to see them on our cars and operational, to see how they look.

Did you smoke them yourself? If so, which applicator did you use? I've smoked some in the past, but they didn't look as nice as those, they were the factory ones though. After seeing your's I think I want to get another set of Euro Clears and smoke those. Man, they look nice!

not sure that's an improvement on the original bulb ones.. it would be nice if they somehow made the finish of the light less shiny and more stock looking

These are getting real popular here in Germany. Especially with the darker color BMW's. There are also clear tail lights that are clse to the original design. Not the white color lights, I mean real clear lights. Look on ebay.de, which is the German ebay.
