to see an M5 that is picked apart and left to rot in the junkyard. Just think, about 13 years ago a team of 7 men took 2 weeks to put that car together from start to finish. Underneath the rear rub strip the team leader would sign the car as if it was a work of art....it was. The last handbuilt BMW to come out of Germany. Over a course of 3 years, only about 1500 of them made it across the pond.

So when they're picking the carcass clean, take a moment to remember what this car was like back in '91...

Here's the signature on my M5..

Thanks Paul, you're too kind...

The camera is a Nikon Coolpix 950. It's about 3 or 4 years old now, and my re-chargeable batteries have finally gave up the ghost. It's been a great camera, but very light sensitive. They've come a long way with digital cameras these days, with 4 or 5 mega-pix. This one is very compact, has plenty of features, and has only 2.3 mega-pix. I did a lot of research before I purchased it, matter of fact, it was the camera the review writers were using when comparing other cameras.

Thanks again Paul, hope this answered your ?
