OT, email question... does anybody else get

blank emails, emails with nothing,no text no images nothing. They pass through my virus scan tool and show up blank.. I get about 8 a week like this.

are you sure there is no attachment?
I do get blanks, but sometimes with request for read receipts, sometimes it has just one square on the page to click as a link (ya right!) with no words.

here is a sender list of a blank emails... these were totally blank and got through my virus scan tool.

I get them but 95% end up in my junk mail.

maybe the virus stuff is wiping the bad stuff out?

Sometimes your ISP or corporate email filter will auto filter-out virii and the like and the message will be blank, I get that sometimes.

Other thing I can think of is that the spambot that sent the emails had its virus scanner filter the virus out.

Last thing I can think of is that the email actually does have an image (to get past the text based anti-spam tools) but you're using a program that doesn't show the images (but also doesn't show you where an image should be, like outlook does).

Thats about all I can come up with.
