1996 328is wont start when hot?

My brother called and said his 1996 328is wont start when it's hot, he has to let it cool off for a couple of hours then it will.

Help plz.

could be a lot of things. He needs to get it hot and try to start it and then check the plugs. If their wet he has a fuel injector or two leaking down. Could also be the computer or electronics getting hot and maulfunctioning, or possibly the engine coolant sensor.
Also when it won't start you should check to see if its firing and has fuel pressure.
have him get some more info. on what it does and how it acts when it does start.
