Air Conditioning and Car Surge combo

[1995 525i]

Hey all,
I have a co-worker who has a 91 525. She says that when she turns the AC on, when driving on a flat spot of road, the car will surge on its own. If she takes her foot off the gas and turns the AC on, the car will drive itself down the road in small surges. This sounds bad to me. Any ideas, sugggestions, names of local exorcist specialists?

humm. AC will usually kick up the idle a little. so if she let off the brakes it will for sure go down the street on idle.

The surge may be cause by some type of vaccume leak or bad MAF. I would check the obvious. rubber hose and rubber intake boots.
There is 3 rubber parts I replaced last year on my old 525i
rubber intake boot
and 2 - Valve vent hose that goes to the underside of the intake manifold.

I found my 2 hoses cracked. It is almost not visible because it is under the manifold.

Lastly MAF.. replaced mine eventually
