So I've been having the classic "stuttering" issue the hotter it gets with my 5/90 525i (M20)

I ordered the air flow meter, got a great tune up, including changing the O2 sensor...etc., but I think I need to change out the vacuum hoses and the ICV. The ICV indicated on bavauto is the L shaped model and bma parts shows the T-valve model......

What's currently on the car is the T-Valve model....the way that it's installed it actually looks like its' bending the connection, I don't know if that's a problem or not...should I go with what's on the car or the part number that's indicated on Bavauto???? How do I find out which is the appropriate part?

Thanks:(

e34 m20s and later e30 325I's run a T shaped valve, ona e30 you can use ether one with the correct air boot, but theres only the one boot style on the e34. they can be successfully be cleaned, the throttle position switch needs to make connection when the throttle is closed for the idle circuit to be activated by the computer
