We all know that Patrick of BMA (888-262-3911) saves us lot of $$$ and is constantly referenced as a great parts source.

This is just a plug to show the magnitude of difference and the magnitude of my gratitude.

I needed 2 silver-gray leather center front armrests (driver and passenger swivel over center console). Dealer pricing went from $264 (each) about last Aug to $431 now. It is a not too difficult install (save another $150 from the dealer). BMA's price $240!

Now that makes a difference!

Even located in Australia, I have made use of BMA. I recently bought 2 new EDCIII struts from them and even after Aust import duty and tax, saved around A$1000 (US$770) compared to local dealer pricing - so I couldn't agree more!

But what I am interested in is what you were doing. Did you buy the armrests to retrofit them? I have the silver/grey sports seats fitted, but no armrests and would love to retrofit if it is reasonably cost effective and straightforward.

If this is what you are doing, please feel free to take lots of pics of the procedure and post them with instructions :)

Cheers

No, sorry, I am just replacing my original ones. I thought the were way past treatment and even letherique type solutions. Since I will do the install, however, I will take pictures of the mechanism. Patrick of BMA asked if I needed the mechanicals or it was just a replacement, so I gather you could install from zero (just a hunch tho).

BMA was $240 each, but turns out one had to be shipped from Germany at an additional $12.52. That beats the dealer pricing of $431 each or $464 from a differnt dealer.
