Oh yeah, that's perfectly right. Like I said... I love driving slow going home so I see the reflection in the ground floor glass windows :)

I just had a guy in my office ask me if my car was the last generation 5 series...couldn't believe that it was a 1991. That is one of my favorite things in the world--my car gets recognition when we have an e60 M5, SL55 AMG, SL500, 3 997s, an e90 3 Series parked in the lot. I probably have one of the cheaper cars at my office....

16 y.o. car and I still get "Is that one of the new ones?"

It is quite cool. Can't wait until I save a few ducat's for a full paint job. These hold their paint well, but time is time.

It got so bad that when my girlfriend was pointing out a hot blonde with a great rear end yesterday, that I was more drawn to a parked e38 nearby.
I see I'm not the only one who suffers this illness.

Anyone ever notice how pedestrians and other motorists get out of the way when they see those angry headlights?

walk across to the other side and discretely 'perve' at it like a dirty old man!!

Yeah, our car is a real classic. It's a BMW, no mistake about it. I really hope one day BMW designers look back at the e34 and go back to designing around it. Among all that got out, I think it's the best design they ever mustered. Simple and pure design, elegant, and definitely sporty.

Yeah, kinda.

No doubt a timeless design... what other car can one buy for $4500 that looks this good?? I'd love to be all patriotic and supportive of my father's 35 years at GM and buy one of their used cars... but a twelve-year-old American vehicle that looks this sexy? Forget it. :D

EDIT: I need to change my sig pic: speaking of angles, this particular angle of the car is one of the few I actually don't like. I think the rear end looks best during the day, the front end looks best at night. And yes, I stare at it from out my bedroom window.

P.S. ... next time you're at the shopping mall, take note of how many people (including yourself) turn around to look at their parked car first thing after they've exited the vehicle. Then decide for yourself if its something they should be proud of :p
