My 95 Touring has developed and odd shudder when turned off.

It also feels as if something heavy is loose beneath the car when I hit a decent bump. I have checked the exhaust mounts, and they are OK, I replaced one that was suspect. I did notice that there is a hanger before the driver's rear wheel that has no donut, but rather a safety wire. I cannot tell from the ETK or elsewhere if this is normal.
I also replaced the motor mounts and the rear trans mounts.
I placed some stiff wire against the trans and then against the exhaust while shutting off the car and could not feel anything definative.
There is a decent shake to the top of the motor when I shut it off, but I cannot ascertain if it is normal or not.
It runs perfectly, with no stutter, stumbling, or uneven power delivery.

It has just turned 90k miles and it seems too young to develop such weird issues.

I think I have the same shudder on engine shut down. Thought it to be normal.

Perhaps it is...in contrast to my E46 with 70k it feels remarkable "loose", and I do not mean in terms of suspension.

thats caused by uneaven compression most of the time I THINK... however it may be a suspension component thats really loose and the engine vibrations are making it shake around.
