My E34 has just failed its MOT on it bottom ball / swivel joint. I have tried to locate this part to buy but I cannot find it. Can anyone tell me what the corect name for it is?

Its the joint at the bottom of the front strut.

See picture. It is below the steel plate on the end of the aluminum part.

also called lower control arms, they come in steel or aluminum with the alu ones being about 85 bux more eack They come as a unit from BMA, bushing arm and balljoint.
