has to come OEM in my opinion, or look it, nothing more than elegant.

bad pictures, but i dont want them to be too good. consider it a teaser as to whats coming in ~ a week. something along the lines of m and parallel, with a dash of 18 inches. and some new fog lights.

Matching tail-lights would be sweet too dude ;)

Yup - OEM M5 style spoiler for the win! (for me, one day)

haha yeah, it was just at that time. it goes with teh body shop rant that will be to come. car sat there for 2 months, they didnt do ****, painted it 3 different colors, and didnt know where to order a clear tail light from. wtf?

anyways it's a BBS wing, to complete the kit :) :) :). so happy.

Neh...

I personally don't like them. IMHO, They don't suit the E34, and if I bought an E39 M5, I'd remove the spoiler on the boot/trunk lip!!

I got the M-tech wing... the only way to go. Wouldn't live without it. Ha! ;)

M-tech ftw!

I'd also get one of those m5 trunk lips.

BTW, I know you're in my area (somewhat), whens the meet going down!? ;)

I can't stand rear spoilers on these cars. Purely an opinion-based thing but I think it ruins the lines of the car. An e46 M3-like bump on the tail wouldn't look bad but the high spoilers look chav IMO.

I saw a gold 525i (same color as mine) with a wide grill and the stock e34 spolier yesterday on I5 going into seattle... I love that spolier and want it sooooooooooo bad!

I like the OEM spoiler so much better...

the red e34 angrycakes posted looks good with that wing. I think the same wing on white or black wouldn't be as nice. The rear of a BMW is kinda like that of a woman. Small and tight is always better than big and floppy. I have an ac schnitzer rear lipper job on my e39, previous owner put it on. I like it, my car looks alot meaner than a stock 528i from behind IMO.

whenever you want. I'll actually be driving through your area on thursday if I can get my alternator replaced in time. Going to Northampton, Mass, for a cousin's wedding. Taking 84 to Hartford, then 91 north. Always up for a detour though.

Well, Hartford is about an hour drive (if your lucky) from me. If you've got a place in mind just let me know...

I've been wing-shopping for about 6 months now, and I just can find the one I want... Its the little vertical lip, of the sort found on very late e30 is models (not the earlier one, which is similar to the e28 m5 and is). Its just a little "strip" that mounts to the vertical face of the trunk lid, right at the edge. Anybody know what I mean? I've only seen one, at an SCCA National meet at Lime Rock - I loitered around the guys car for about 1/2 an hour, so after I started getting suspicous looks I figured I had better clear off!

I had one, installed by P.O. from BMW part #82-11-9-401-186. Made of rubber. I liked it at first but the paint on the stupid thing cracked and the freezing cold up here made the rubber crack after 2 years...

I had to rip it off as it was glued to the trunk. Had to redo the entire trunk and repaint cause paint came off with it and rust was forming from trapped moisture. I like it better now. No more for me.
