Hi All,

Quite recently my door brakes have started squeaking. I want to lubricate the door brakes. What lubricant should I use? Do I have to remove the door panels for this?

Thanks
Arun

I used white lithium? grease. A tube at PepBoys is a couple bucks. Do it before it breaks off inside the door. Then you definitely have to take it apart. With the door wide open you should be able to get some grease on the part on the door side of the brake. I put it on the sides of the brake also where it rubs and tends to corrode. If it's really rusty use some penetrating oil first to loosen it up.

ya i used the presurized spray crap to give me a little time...which I havent had to mess with since...forget opening the door for a proper job as of now.

I use silicon spray for the time being.
