There are two different sunroof gaskets per Realoem. Does anyone know why? I want to replace mine to eliminate wind and possibly a rattle. It seems the thicker gasket would be a better seal? TIA

Maybe the 2nd one is easy fix solution for "sunken" sunroofs?

Thanks, My opinion as well. Actually someone on road f gave the same basic answer as he used the thicker gasket with no issues.

Thicker it will be! That is after I work out some squeaks and rattles and new rear brakes. Never really stops if you want to keep an older car as close to 100% as 'reasonably" possible.

maybe the tourings were slightly different since they have two of them.

This for a single sunroof on the sedan. I do not want to even think about all the touring sunrrof problems. :)

At high speeds, my sunroof makes a weird shakey/flappy sound also, is there an easy fix for this?
