As the title says. Does anyone have experience with this hose, and how did they install it? I just recently had to remove this hose on my 1991 525i and replace it. It was such a bitch to do. I ended up removing the whole intake manifold assembly because I could not seem to wiggle that hose in the right direction.
Here are some pics of what it looked like.

This is what I did

After I put it back together

Damn I love how the hoods open on these cars

Just wondering if anyone had experience with this hose because it seems like a lot of work to have to remove the intake manifold to replace that hose.

Also I know I am a newb and this is prob the wrong forum to ask this in, but my father asked me to replace his front calipers on his 76 2002 and I was wondering what the proper bleeding method for this car is? FL, RR, FR, RL?

On a 94 525i, I fed it in from the front. I took the airbox out and the maf but that was all.

Sure was a difficult fit.

RR, RL, FR, FL should be the standard bleed cycle for all LHD RWD cars.
There are guides that tell you to do it in the complete opposite order, i do it that way.

RR FL RL FR is for FWD LHD cars with a "split" brake system.

thanks for the replies. Removing the intake box is a good idea. I couldnt find a way to fit it in so I just removed the whole damn intake manifold. LOL. BillionPA thanks for the reply about the proper bleeding method. Wish me luck and I will become a frequent poster here now.
