I'm having my mechanic address some serious tune-up issues. I'm replacing the fuel filter, O2 sensor, distributor cap/rotor, and the throttle valve thingy. I know that a few have mentioned that you've replaced your injectors before also. Can someone tell me how many I should purchase?
This guy is good, so he let's me buy my own parts....and it makes the job go quicker.

thanks in advance

Where are you planning on buying them from? How much each?

Also, don't forget spark plugs - their cheap and easy for a tuneup.

Either www.bavauto.com or www.bmaparts.com. Do you happen to know if the sparks that you buy online from them are already pre-gapped?

Well, they are 50 bucks at bavauto, and 60.00 at bmaparts. Thats the "per" price. I really wish I could do it myself and really save the money..

If you buy them from BMA, like I usually do, they sell/recommend the OEM Bosch two-pronged ones that are pregapped. At least, for my 1992 M50 engine, that is what they take.

If you can deal with a few days downtime, have the injectors rebuit at:

http://witchhunter.com/

They did a great job. Cleaned and recalibrated @ $15 each

so, it just made sense to get new ones with 100k on the old ones.

No down time just pop right in and drive.
