The short of it-
Car over heated due to a failed T-stat. I shut the car down immediately and once it cooled down (many hours later) I drove it home. At the time I was going to pick-up a new radiator. I replaced the radiator and T-stat and everything seemed fine. Then I noticed some coolant on the floor a few days later, well last night I pressure tested the cooling system to find a leak in the head gasket. So, I'll replace the head gasket, but what else should I do while I'm in there. Car has about 130k.

New Schrick Cam?
Valve job?
Anything else?

What gains should be expected from the cam? Torque/ HP

Thanks

Replace the oil rail bolts with the updated ones (replace the crush washers also) torque to factory spec.

Paint the rocker cover to flash it up?

New dizzy rotor?

Have the injectors cleaned and flow tested?

do the cooling hoses if you didnt get new ones.

all intake manifold gaskets

ceramic coat the exhaust headers?

timing chain?

M30 High Performance Valve Springs, 12 pcs $335
M30 Titanium Valve Retainers (8mm), 12 pcs $190

OR.....

for about $2500 you can get ...
M30 Stage 3 Performance Cylinder Head
with new valves, springs, retainers, guides, port and polished, fully resurfaced, and flow bench tested!

then throw the Schrick cams in there, and your engine will be a monster!
