OT: The latest update from zmuff

Well, I’ve been waiting since December 2005 to post this message “I AM DONE WITH CHEMOTHERAPY AND I AM CLEAN!!!”. For some of the newer members, I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma last year and went through surgery and 8 rounds of rather intense chemo treatments. It’s been one hell of a ride but now I can return to a much more normal life. I have been impatiently waiting for the results from my latest CT/PET scan and I got the good news yesterday. My wife and I are ecstatic to say the least. I wanted to thank my extended family here at bimmer.info for all of the support, recommendations, advice, and comments that you’ve given me during this time, it made things much easier to deal with.

Now I’m going to shut up and drive! THANKS ALL!!!!!!!

All this time we've been yakking on and zmuffs been doing the chemo, battling what feels worse than sickness AND death combined. It takes such a level of internal strength and courage -plus lashings of blind faith and luck- that many falter on the way.

zmuff; you will be amazed how fast the living forget the personal victory this sort of thing really is. May the experience build you so that you can reach the peaks you found previously unthinkable. May each day you live from now is a day better than your last... everone will be bowled by your news, not just your beautidful e34 that would have had to go to someone else (no doubt less loving) unless you had written into your will that you wanted to buried in it... heh... or had you?
