Subscribe to Bimmer. Purchase C&D, Automobile and others that have interesting articles. Not so impresssed with the Roundel. I just want tech stuff and info. Not too interested in group things, Octoberfest etc. But thats just me.

subscribe to Citroenthusiast (for antique citroens obviously), sometimes pick up hemmings sports & exotics or practical classics (uk) at the newsstand

my first roundel came a few days ago and i found it to be colossally uninteresting.

The cool picture on the front cover didn't do anything for you? :D

well, we'll see what a few more covers and interiors do for me. kinda harsh to judge it on one ish.

however, i'd like to second your observation that club membership means a lot more than the mag itself. and it was delightful that someone from the mag came to the recent gathering. good on em.

Autoweek, Roundel, Road & Track, Bimmer, Grassroots Motorsports, Classic Motorsports and the best one until it was killed off On Track....

Road and Track, since they have Peter Egan and the occasional interesting article. I find most of the mags to be kind of boring and loath to say anything bad about any car, though...

Subscribe to Car and Driver but I will read pretty much anything and in any language as long as its about cars as I am easily amused: in particular Bimmer, Top Gear and Evo. I've also got a whole stash of a few hundred other mags including Motor Trend, Road and Track, some Mexican and French stuff which is real good, and Car from the 80s-90s, which, at the risk of sounding like a pretentious ahole, is still the best freaking car magazine I have ever read in my whole life. Too bad they f'ed it up tho...

Evo and Car are fantastic from the UK--helluva lot better than any American Mag that I can think of. Hemmings Sports and Exotic is great as well. Sports Car Market for more classics/auction highlights, Classic Cars from UK as well, Excellence [Porsche], Total 911, GT Purely Porsche, Bimmer, Roundel, Autoweek, Road and Track, Automobile [has gotten a lot better lately, though R&T is still best American Mag IMO].

I think that is all that I have subscriptions with...I spend as much on magazines as I do high speed internet and cable every month...
