Does the Peake Tool read the same codes as the Stomp Test or are they entirely different codes?

Will the Peake Tool read the codes associated with the “TRANS PROGRAM” warning?

Thanks

The Peak Research Tool will identify 26 different codes on your '89 535iA. It can find a faulty AT kick-down prevent solenoid valve, Torque Convertor Clutch, and that's about all it has to do with the transmission.

You would really need access to the dealer or an indys diagnostic equipment that deals with MoDic to read all of the signals from the A/C to the Anti-lock braking to do the kind of diagnostic work you need done.

Just remember that some codes that are thrown are the result of another problem that can mask the diagnostic procedure. It helps to offer every bit of information about a problem in order to properly diagnose and provide a solution.
