Do all Tourings have LAD??

One of the first things I noticed on this car is that the power steering reservoir is the small ATF version, not the big LAD ch-11 one.

Anyone know the change point? I'm looking at a '94 right now. About a 125 miles away this weekend and like to get my facts lined-up..
