Hi Y'all. Just bought a 1992 535i and would like to fix it up. Any feedback on the right Angel Eyes to puchase and I just puchased some 19" wheels and tires off of Ebay they look like they came off a later 90's 7-series. The guy did say he had the hub rings for them and would include them in the shipping. I'm sure I'll have more questions so any assistance would be most appreciated.:)

Both E32 and E38 are 72.5mm, so why do you need hubrings?
What is the ET? And if the tires are from an E38, they probably will not fit on the E34.
What exactly is written on the wheels and the tires? ET?

Angel Eyes: use search on top right with angel eyes as keyword and you have much to read.

beware, 19" wheels negatively effect handling on an E34.

the angel eyes to get are Depo projectors.

Thanks for the reply,
The guy that had them up for bid on ebay said he had rings and would inclued them. The add read BMW 19" W/Toyo Tires e34,e38,e39,e60,e65 so I'm hoping I did not just waste my $$$$$$.

Let me know what you think.

if you havent upgraded the rest of the suspension it puts a lot of stress on it and causes components to fail. the patch of rubber on the ground is the wrong shape and size, which depending on the width of the tires, can cause oversteer and understeer in an uncontrollable fashion.

Thanks for the info. Since I did already purchase the wheels and tire I will upgrade the springs/ struts also. I'll get some before and after photos as this project gets going.

make sure you upgrade the swaybars too, and the front end bushings.

Sorry for the delay as I searched angel eyes and was reading all the great info. The ebay item # is 8073827687. The wheels are 8.5" wide w/255/45/19 and 5x120 bolt pattern w/20mm offset. Man I hope I did'nt just waste $950.00. If they work I will post all photos of the project. Man the things I do for my wife.

Set of four BMW 8 1/2 19" wheels with Toyo proxes T1-S 255/45 ZR 19 96Y. Set has less than 5k miles.

TONS of compliments when they were on the car.

5 X 120 bolt pattern.

You may need hub rings depending on your particular model. included.

Offset is believed to be 20mm. Back of spoke is stamped E/S 20

GREAT condition but of course... used.

255/45 is gonna rub on an e34. if you're going the 19" route you're looking at 275/30 or 35/19

real nice wheels though. what color is your car?

White 92 535i. Found on ebay also. Flight from Austin to Kansas City then 11.5 hour drive home. So these things are going to rub huh?

yeah, 7 series (e38) tires are too big for an e34. but if they're good tires which they appear to be, you could sell them for some decent coin.

So between these and the stock wheels and tires I should be able to go 30 or 35 series? Are you possitive that these will rub? And if so are talking when turning or on the wheelhouse?

To start with, call BMP Design for one of their catalogs, great stuff there.
