Took off yesterday from Boise, Idaho enroute La Junta, Colorado for the first leg of about a 4,000 mile trip. Put down 900 miles yesterday with a high fuel average of 25.9 mpg travelling an average of 77.5 across Wyoming from Evanston to Fort Collins, Colorado. Basically set the cruse on 80 and let her rip.

Everything seems to be holding up very well. Not hot, about 80 degrees average during the day. Light rain toward the end of the day off and on. Temp gauge just a needle width below (colder) than dead center.

Possibility exists for a better gas mileage average on another leg of the trip and I'll pass info along as I go. Pretty good considering the 3.64 gear and running at about 3200 rpm.

Trip is Boise, ID to La Junta, CO (Southeastern Colorado) visit folks. Then on to Hatch, NM and across Arizona to San Diego for a few days visit. Then up to San Simeon to visit Hearst Castle and on up Highway 1 to Monterey (best drive ever!). From Monterey to Yuba City CA (North of Sacramento to visit a friend). Then up California to the Redwoods National Park and up to Oregon. From Medford across Oregon to Boise (home).

2 week trip and probably about 4,000 miles total. So far, so good.:)
