JavierHeh, sure am mate. Its me, my ICV and the TeeVee. www.fifa.com took over 60 seconds to load the page banner, so I reckon (like usual) they've screwed up the website with too much flash.

Still the online coverage (http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/w/match/template.html?id=12&day=12&month=06&year=2006) is good. 25 minutes in and no goals.. :( come on Socceroos!!!

Watched until 20 mins to go, until then thought my son's U13 team could've won it. Got bored went to bed, next thing the house across the road explodes with cheers, then a couple of minutes later again and then again.
Typical, if I watch something it's either **** or we get flogged, if I don't watch we whoop ass!
I'm not watching the Brazil match;)

What a difference the last 7 minutes made. But the AUSSIE team deserved the win. More ball contacts, more goal shots, more in the Japanese penalty area.
The Japanese team was outplayed, their goal was lucky, but also the first AUS goal was a big jap. goalkeeper mistake, although he saved before some very good shots.
Now it will be difficult for Japan to reach the second round, which was their target.
To be honest, one of the less impressive games I have seen so far in this worldcup.
With this victory AUS is now 5-3 with 3 draws in 11 meetings with Japan. The last time the 2 sides met was at the 2001 Confederations cup in Yokohama, where Japan won 1-0.

the Portugal game against Angola sucked. Hope they were just saving resources after the first goal.

Logic says you are the best team in your group.

Aussies badly beat Japs 3-1

Brazilians hardly beat Croats 1-0

Japs and Croats are about the same 0-0

So today we should have an Australia wining team!!!

Best wishes for today.

Oh my god, that was exiting. Our Japanese team now has to win against mighty Brazil to get to the next round :(

The Aussies played well but didn't take their chances. At least they weren't slaughtered.

Still in with a chance of getting to the next round.

Note to self : must get some sleep - this world cup is killing me.

At least we'd bring the beer though, no Fosters shite, we'd only bring some Euro-style Oz-local brand stuff you'd probably never have heard of but would want to die drinking... mmm yea- that'd make for a really decent World Cup.

How big is your tv screen Javier? :D Nick

we drew which means the stupid lets push the referee because we can't win by playing fair croatians don't get to advance to the next round
and they thought we would be a push over, hehe just like uruguay. :p mate we showed those losers.

next match is against italy? damn that could cause some problems at work!:p

Games here in Japan are usually shown from 10 PM due to the different time = plus 7 hours compared to Germany in summer time.
The Japan-Brazil game started this morning at 2 AM and I almost did not get a sleep after the game till it was time to go to office.
Japan 1- Brazil 4
Japan can book the flight home and probably the Brazilian born Coach "Zico" will quit due to poor performance of the japanese team.
Germany played strong against Ecuador, Klose is a dangerous forward.

Even though as a German I obviously support German...steht auf wenn ihr Deutsche seid, steht auf wenn ihr Deutsche seid...but I wish the Ausiies all the best - as do a lot of kiwis, as they (me included) support Australia when the NZ teams aren't represented (bit of a quid pro quo I hear). About time someone mixed up the game - sick of seeing Brazil win it. Also have my eyes on Argentina - their level of skill surprised the hell out of a lot of people. No matter what, it is shaping up to be one hell of a World Cup.
