I just sold my rear seats to a gentlemen in Australia. The selling price fair, and the shipping? Take a guess. FedX 1300.00, UPS 1800.00 They both said it needs to be shipped freight. Told them that it is just a rear seat 2pcs, and said I would wrap it in shipping paper, and shipping wrap, and they said that it cannot be shipped this way. I hope this guy doesn't drop dead.:(

It would workout cheaper sending the whole car in a container.A friend did just that for around $2000.00

UH. Would like to keep the car. If the price is right, and shipping added? I look forward to sending it. Nice down payment for a 89 Porsche 911 turbo widebody.

Have you inquired about shipping it? See a freight forwarder and they might be able to send it in a container with a bunch of other stuff. It should be waaaaaay cheaper (and slower). I sent two large trunks to Germany (okay it was about 10 years ago) but it only cost about AU$300 plus forwarders costs which weren't much. I airmailed a Burago scale model car to the states. The sale price was AU$42 and the shipping was AU$26!!! He was happy though.

i agree with da wingman,it was only going to cost me 130 us in actual shipping costs (port to port) to get a set of 4 17in wheels and tyres from germany to NZ a coupla years ago.If you shop round(yellow pages) you will find someone who will do the whole deal for ya,your door to port maybe door to door cos most of these guys also do the customs side of things.
