Assuming just fuel costs, she'll be chugging $315 CAD worth of gas (worst case) for the round trip :)

My baby will probably take $90 in gas (from Detroit).

Unfortunately, the fuel pump has been making more and more noise, so I'm bringing a spare with me. If I have to change it on the way, the trip will cost another $50 (ebay used) plus the labor rate I charge myself . . . after all, time is money.

Lets see...

1995 525i $48,000
Time off work $200
Gas $50
Hotel $70
Carting $80
Jeff in his space suit... Priceless

Some things cost money.. everything else costs enough money that you need to rob a bank...

Now that is an e34 I have to see.

I probably wouldn't drive a car that nice.

I just hope you aren't towing it there with an e34 M5. :)

Ah yes. It all makes sense now. I guess I never think about that since I paid less than a 10th of that for mine. (I wonder if there are any orginal owners are on this site, I'll have to start a new thread)

btw- the "towing . . . M5" comment was referencing this thread http://www.bimmer.info/forum/showthread.php?t=22490, in case you thought I fell of my rocker.
