what changes did you discover between the original auto trans 530s and the new modded ones? You had mentioned a second stage or something in the stock chip that was buried in the file.

Curious minds want to know :D

i will evaluate it as soon as I get it including mileage etc. I cant compare it to the stock chip honestly because I have the JC chip currently but will compare it to that one. The JC has more top end from about 4000 rpms ish compared to stock. I posted the 60-80 times a long time ago but dont have the link handy. Marks chip had a ton more low end but had a slight problem regarding transmission shifting. This is what mark has worked on and hopefully isnt an issue and we will have *real* chips for our cars.
So this chip will work for my 95 530i Auto?

There are tqo possible chips for the 94 530iA's and the one you require depends on the build date. This one will work for cars made in the same 6 month period as Jeff's. I'll post the info as soon as I find out when Jeff's was built. Jeff, can you post your build date here?

Tell me more about this trans chip. I've got a 95' 530 auto. with a late build date. Occassionally I get some "Torque shudder" going from 4th to 5th, could this chip address this issue????
