Reading a Electromotive Tec3-R manual and it lists "6 cyl BMW" as even fire? Is M50 an even or odd fire?

I think that odd fire engine is the one in which the crankshaft rotates alternatingly say 90 degrees then 45 then 90 then 45 before a spark is fired...
Rustam is correct when he explains that odd fire is when cylinders are fired at unequal intervals. This is the result of lopping two cylinders from a V-8 to get a 6 and not recofiguring the crank pins. General motors did it in the sixties and seventies. They were shaking pieces of crap as you might imagine.
The M-50 is a proper even fire engine.
