Hi, I have a 1994 530i v8 uk car. I'm going to mot it tomorrow but noticed a crushed fuel pipe under the drivers side. It connects into the fuel rail next to the regulator. I have cut the steel pipe and replaced it with high pressure rubber. I assumed it was the return but now paranoia has set in that it could be the feed. Its the pipe that runs on its own, away from the brake pipes. Any help A.S.A.P would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Pressurized fuel enters the fuel rail, goes past the injectors, into the regulator. The line leaving the regulator is the return line and is low pressure. just follow the lines from the rail to under the car. If I remember right, the pressure line enters the left side of the fuel rail and the return leaves on the right, both come together and run down the right side of the engine bay to under the car.
